My Rooster has something wrong with his eye. It presented itself out of nowhere. He has had it for about a week now. It will not get worse, nor better. His other eye is fine. No respiratory issues present, no abnormal behavior. He eats and drinks and chickens just fine. I have examined his eye, his mouth, ears. Everything is clean and free of debris. No wounds that i could find either.
I have treated the eye with Terramycin ophthalmic ointment, 3 times daily.
Have given a round of Antibiotics, and have been giving him two halves of low dose 81mg aspirin once daily for 4 days. No change at all. I am about out of ideas as to what this may be! It seems to be the fleshy tissue of the eye itself. The eye reacts to light, functions normally.

Have you looked for any foreign body, such as a tiny feather or seed that might be stuck in the eye? Does the eye or face smell bad? Can you express any pus from around the eye? If it isn’t an infection from a peck or something in the eye, or a respiratory disease, such as coryza, a tumor might be possible. Coryza is treated with sulfadimethoxine or Bactrim. I think that Baytril will also treat it. If it was coryza or MG, he should have some respiratory symptoms, I would think.
