Glad to see him enjoying some sunshine!I'm not sure how much outside time Sunny should have after surgery but I brought him out while I sat and watched today and he is like a new chicken.
So thankful to all of you for your compassion and advice! Here's hoping it all stays inside when the stitches come out on Monday!
That is wonderful news! So glad he came through ok. Thanks for the update!Just ad an update, Sunny had his sutures removed on Monday and appears to be all good. No prolapse recurrence as of yet. Here he is sunbathing with his two ladies. View attachment 1801835

Just thought I would update one last time. Sunny's prolapse returned. We took him to the vet and she took him to surgery to actually cut off the prolapse and reattach the intestine. Unfortunately, Sunny passed away as soon as he was put under anesthesia. She did CPR and wasn't able to bring him back. Rest in peace Sunny. You were a great roo and will be missed.
