Rooster with very odd walk

My rooster is walking in a very odd slow manner…He will pick his legs very high off the ground slowly then kind of paw at the ground a few times then FINALLY take a step he walks very slow and repeats this behavior almost every time he goes anywhere…and even when he runs its slow and strange…What could this be? Is he having some kind of neurological problem or what?

Oh I think he started this around the time his pen was really muddy from all the rain we had here…and at first I thought he really just hated walking around in the mud but he kept doing it after everything dried out!

Does he have a sore on the bottom of his foot or both feet? Could he have bumble foot?

He may have strained a tendon from walking around in the mud, especially it is was very deep. Does he seem in pain? I would recommend putting him in a small area, like a cage or small coop so he can heal. I don't know though, maybe I'm wrong.

Thanks guys! I've been watching him more now (just had a baby not too long ago so things have been a bit crazy and I have not been able to spend much time with everyone) and he at times seems normal and runs fine....I pretty sure hes just a bit of a wierdo....
