Rooster won’t stand. Still eating and drinking. Laying on his side.

Is he drinking or eating today? I would hold a small cup of water to his beak often, and also some watery mushy chicken feed. Cooked is good as well. If you should lose him, and I hope not, you can send or take his body (keep refrigerated but not frozen) in to your state vet for a necropsy to get a diagnosis. Here is a link where to do that and contact info:

He’s eating and drinking he has food available at all times and seems to be eating regularly. We’ve been giving him water with electrolytes in a dish and through a dropper to make sure he does not get dehydrated. Fingers crossed he looks to be perking up.

The chicken slings can be good to get them up with feet touching the ground, and help them to eat when food and water are there in front. I would work with him if you can to see if he will stand, and give him time out of the sling often to rest.
