Rooster won't leave hens alone! Hens hiding!

It depends on how far the moult is away and how much extra protein and feed they have. I would remove the roo either temporary or out of the equation entirely and got more hens. That many hens with one roo is problematic and will be stressing the hens out to the point that they may stop laying and become anxious and depressed
sorry I didn't get what you meant there. Feedback much appreciated.

Sorry, I meant that it will take time for the feathers to re grow, and it will also depend on how far away from moult they are and how much protein/ extra feed they get.

You have far to few hens for the rooster and if they are hiding then he is clearly stressing them out which leads to anxious birds, depression, and temperament problems as well as loss in egg production.

I would remove the rooster. Either completely remove him from the equation, or just build him a temporary pen until you get more hens. That being said an aggressive rooster is unlikely to become less aggressive.
