Rooster?

I also have this one that came to me with road runner legs. I have to carry him to where is family is. He can flap around to get there but it is really tiring for him. I'm sad that he's going to have to "go" because I can't keep him going like this just because I love him. Everything about him is off - his feathers are messed up just like his leg.

He is gorgeous but I'm partial to the big black rooster- cant tell you why. Let's hope he doesntView attachment 1849711 try to kill me when he matures because he's a big, proud boy already and he was only born at the beginning of May.

Hah my chickens were hatched in may too, my pf pic is of my rooster and he thinks he's all that XD

Just from a nomenclature standpoint, he is a cockerel. Rooster and hen are terms reserved for fully mature (one year or older) chickens. Cockerel and Pullet are the more age appropriate terms for these.
Oof sorry... I've always called chickens "hens" and "roosters" no matter what age, mostly because last time I had chickens (before now!) was when I was 4...
