Where did you get your chicken? If you got it from someone, did they mention the chick being male? If you hatched your own chicks, have you checked to see the possibility ratio of the hatched chicks being male? Have you checked to see if the chick shows male like behavior? I suggest, if you do not get a definite answer on whether it is a male or not, check the breed you have and see what the males look like. Does it look like your chick?
