Hello
I’m new to this forum so I hope I am using this correctly. I have one chicken that we have recently questioned the sex. Almost Every morning for 2wks she or he crows. She is sometimes agressive towards the other chickens. The 6 were purchased together. We do not want a Rooster. A poster mentioned a picture would help and that maybe a poster on this forum can look and tell me if you think she is a he? Lol. Thanks for any information you can provide 🐓🥚🤔

Did you buy them as sexed pullets? That looks like a cockerel. At least some of the others look suspicious too, especially the black one.

I would say three out of four are cockerels. Sorry. The one in the back (in the last photo) looks like the female…? Maybe? I’m not the best with this but I’ve learned a lot and the other three are definitely male
Now I’m upset. Tractor supply sold them as chickens Hens! I specifically said no roosters. They never told me otherwise!

It's not their fault, tractors supply has to go by the paperwork sent with the chicks from the hatchery, it was probably a straight run batch mislabeled as sexed pullets and you got a bad draw. I'm sorry

This breaks my heart!!!! We got our first batch of chickens from Farm and Fleet and 2 out of the 4 were roosters.. they told us they were girls. I cried for a very long time. I recommend local rooster rehoming Facebook groups.. that's how we found a home for my boys.

If you want to get more chickens, I recommend online breeders. We got 5 from one after our Farm and Fleet disaster and all of them were girls :) it is a better option as well because you can choose from a larger selection of breeds suited to your needs, environment, and lifestyle and you can vaccinate them from certain places as well :) chickens are our best friends and I know something like this absolutely sucks because it happened to me but you do heal. Do some research on breeders and look into possible new homes for your probable boys.

I'm here if you need to talk, I know it is upsetting! Your chickens are beautiful. Good luck
