Rooster

Day three and he is continuing to challenge me. I’m trying to be firm with him and stand my ground but today my back was turned and he went after my boots as I was walking away. I’m thinking he may need to find a new home.

Yes, you need to cull him, not quite sure why you think anyone else deserves this. If you re-home him, do not ask any questions what they are going to do with him.
I’m rehoming him to a friend who knows how he’s been acting and she’s fully aware. I would always be upfront with someone about something like that. And regardless of whether it was a friend or not, whatever they choose to do with him is their business. I was fully prepared that the person may cull him, which is fine. I just personally don’t want to cull him myself.
