Oh good!!! And honestly if you collect the eggs every day, you won’t have new chicks anyways. They have to be incubated to develop. And the eggs won’t taste any different or have little chicks in them or anything like that. So you can keep them together and if he’s a good rooster he’ll help find treats for them and protect them a den cute things like that. BUT!!!! Some people are grossed out by the idea of eating fertilized eggs even though there’s no babies developing so if you still want to separate him, I completely understand. But I would make it so he can still see them so he won’t get lonely.

It’s okay! Everyone starts somewhere! it takes 21 days for chicken chicks to hatch, btw. It’s different for different species. But yeah. Just FYI in case you ever did want to hatch.
