How old? Looks like a young pullet to me, but that birchen pattern on the hackles is worrisome. Are those hackles actually pointed or is it just the pattern making them look that way? Can you get a closeup of the saddle area?

we got 5 new ' girls' last night who are all mixed breeds. It was dark so we couldn't see much, just used flash on our phones... I'll get a picture, I believe they are pointed though.

How old is s/he? Knowing an age would greatly help. Also, more photos would be great! : ) I love your profile photo, by the way; the baby is so adorable!
