Welcome to BYC! Cindybart's Cuckoo Maran is a rooster, and I'm less certain about themkleclair's TetraTint, but am leaning roo on it as well. It would be worth posting it in the What Breed and Gender? section of the forum. I hope I'm wrong and it's a hen. Good luck.

If you are looking to rehome him, your state thread is a good place to try for local homes https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/270925/find-your-states-thread also try the BST forum, there is a section for animals in need of free rehoming... also locally places like Craigslist and your local feed store (some will take roosters) are places to try.

They work on my boys...
Stifles the load stuff. Roosters are no loader than hens.

The enforcement point in my city is the sound ordinance (disturbed neighbors at 0400 by crowing). Otherwise in most areas enforcement is on a complaint basis, no licensing, no inspections.

I know this is a bit late, but info for next time.

PS: Before I found these professionally manufactured ones I used wall-tie straps from old book cases and a screw. Just a little restriction is all they need to not crow.
