My black jersey giant is very sweet to the hens (let's them eat treats first, never aggressive) however.... Not so sweet to people. My wife use to be able to hold him several times a week but this has become impossible since the hens have started laying. Seems to go after her and I during feeding and water changes. Any suggestions?

I have a rooster that is the same way. The only thing that seems to work is to handle him every day. If he attacks you, pick him up (if you can!). You can also wear long sleeves or gloves when you handle him.
