So this spring I hatched 5 eggs, and I'm certain out of it I got 2 roosters. They have long beautiful tails already at 19wks. 3 I have questions on. 1 I definitely am puzzled on. IT does a submissive pose when I walk near and squats with its tail up, but crows like a rooster. And today it was attempting to grab ALL the other chickens and jump on their backs... it definitely rules the roost, but I've never had a rooster that squats submissively. Any advise would be appreciated.

That is a rooster. Does he only squat when you are around? Does he ever peck the ground and scratch when you come close? I have a rooster that does that, and I think that they think we are their hens. He may be trying to show you a good spot to lay an egg. Or just showing off.

Probably just a submissive rooster, maybe he is at the bottom of the pecking order if you have two others. I agree that he could be doing a different behavior like showing off. Definitely a roo though!
