I have posted a thread about having too many roosters before, but I have 4 roosters and they like to pick on the hens. I have separated them, but I can only separate one at a time, and they hate being confined into a small space. I need to do something though, because one of them pecked one of the hens on her comb, causing it to bleed. Is there anything else that I can do..?

boil water with some carrots and onions and add a roo after plucking
Just make sure to rest the cleaned carcass in fridge 48-72hrs before cooking...
...or you'll be as annoyed with him after as you were before.

Too many roosters are just too many. Unless you have a flock of 50 hens, you have too many roosters. If you can't separate them and keep them, they you have to separate them by culling, either giving them away (good luck, some can find homes, but many will be soup in someone else's kitchen) or invite them to dinner.

They are and will keep stressing your hens. Once you do cull them, you are going to be amazed at how the tension in the flock has dropped. I always try and solve for the peace of the flock.

X2... especially the bolded. When managing animals we have to consider their needs first and our wants second
