Breed : svart hona
Age: 5months cockerel

We aren't zoned for roos but here are two very sweet tame cockerels that had to be re-homed - one was a Partridge Silkie and one was a Blue Breda:

CURIOUS PARTRIDGE SILKIE 6-MONTH COCKEREL - "Trumpet"

Trumpet's sister named "Shrinking Violet" was shy and ran from the camera!

Trumpet was a true gentleman letting the ladies go in first!

Trumpet had to be re-homed at 6 months so we never got to see his adult feather colors

BLUE BREDA HAVE LARGE NOSTRILS, NO COMB BUT HAVE A TRIANGLE TASSLE WHERE A COMB SHOULD BE, VULTURE HOCKS, AND FEATHERED FEET - COCKEREL - "ICHABOD"

Breda mature slowly so at 5-months Ichabod's tail feathers are sparse and saddle feathers just starting to grow

Breda are very curious outgoing unafraid people-friendly birds -- had to take a step back from Ichabod when taking this photo. He wanted to see the "other" chicken in the camera lens!

Ichabod's long juvenile toe feathers were dropping off and had to tape his feet from chewing his new growing adult toe feathers. He loved staring at his reflection in the oven window!

Ichabod the cockerel is in his new owner's home His toe feathers finally grew but his adult tail feathers are slowly growing out! An incomplete feathered cockerel is so sad to see. His vulture hocks and feathered toes drag on the floor but his tail still needs a lot more feathers!

Wow pretty birds. I will post on the thread when the contest is over and the winners. Please spread the word and good luck.

Thank you.

This is Biter, with our baby goat, and our RIR hen. Biter is a Cochin Roo.

Our EE roo is in the top Right ^^

Biter dressing up.

The two white with dark brown feathers, are our boy Roosters, the rest are hens. In fact, the boys have equally split the girls, 3/3 so they each have their own little pack.
