Roosters comb is turning black

i was out checking my chickens today and I notice the back of my roosters comb was starting too turn black, any explanations?

I uploaded pictures, he is acting fine and normal as usual

It’s 58 right now but weather has been so strange, it’ll rain and be warm or cold

It looks like frostbite. Our roosters just got it too.

To me it’s frostbite has it been cold there within the last week.
