I was doing a nightly check up and noticed that my rooster's right eye is extremely swollen. This has been the first super hot day this year and I don't know if that has anything to do with it. It looks like it has some clear discharge running from it and the white of his eye looks covered in the corner. I am wondering if this is from a disease, the heat, a peck, or a sting? I am unsure how to treat this and any information would be helpful. Do I need to schedule an avian vet appointment with him or will it go away on its own. i also noticed what looks to be a crack in his beak that was not there yesterday. Here is a picture.
