*I added a picture.
*And spoon fed him egg yolk. His eyes are still shut.*

2 of my roosters were fighting yesterday so I separated them. This morning one wouldn't get down from his perch and his eyes are closed. There are no visible injuries to his eyes. I just moved him to the floor and he drank several handfuls of water from me. What should I do? Should I leave him on ground? Put him on roost again? Warm compress on eyes? He is just under a year old.
Thank you.

Continue to isolate him and try giving him some electrolytes in his water. If you have nutridrench add that to water and give it to him, maybe some raw egg yolk, or even just a bit of sugar in some water may perk him up. Just keep him isolated with that water and keep an eye on him- thoroughly check him over for any injuries.

good luck!

Can you provide a photo to try and help? Respiratory diseases in poultry normally start with the eyes because their sinus cavity is around their eyes as well.

How is he doing today?

He's been beaten up, so you will want to make sure he's staying hydrated.
Has be opened his eyes yet?
I wouldn't put him back with the other rooster at this time, keep them separated until he heals. Is the other rooster injured too?

You may find that you need to house your roosters separately from now on.
