I had 6 of 8 eggs hatch during the cold season and 4 are Black sex links and three of those are pullet. The other two are RIR so I can't tell. Maybe the other two that did not make it were roos.
I used to hatch 5000 or more eggs per week and the temp has nothing to do with the hen/rooster ratio. It is like the old wives tale of the sex of a child depending who is on top. No truth to it. Sorry kids, only way to tell it.
Well that is all good news, that a mojority knows that high temps will not effect the ratio. just trying to seperate fact from ole wives tales. thank you one and all.
