After a dog attacked and killed my entire flock in April, I went to the local tractor supply and purchased 3 ISA Brown and 3 Black Sex hens to replace my flock. I ended up with 2 ISA hens, 1 ISA Rooster, 1 Black Sex Rooster, 1 Black Sex Hen, and 1 Plymouth Bard Hen. I live in a cul-du-sac and cannot have roosters. They are not crowing yet, but its only a matter of time. I have researched crow collars, only to read horror stories about them. I don't want to have to kill my roosters, so I was hoping someone in the Cincinnati area on this forum may be interested in taking my 2 roosters.
