Roosters in the flock

Hi!
I have a flock of -
4 serama females
1 female of a bigger breed, mixed
9 mixed bantam / jungle fowl females
Total 14 females
And -
2 serama roosters. One is exactly a year old, the other is about 1.5 years old.

Do I have enough roosters to have more chicks next year? The ratio is 2-14. I don't mind they would all be seramas

By the way I have noticed that the serama rooster don't mate the bigger female. They are not interested in her... they even chase her sometimes away from the food when she comes to eat. It's not an issue since I didn't want her to hatch chicks anyway. I need the smaller breeds, so my neighbors won't complain when they see big chickens (we live in the city). Thanks!!

For me you answered any question about whether or not you have enough Roosters when you indicated you live in the city. I think you're lucky that you have "Rooster peace," with the 2, and I'd not want to disturb that by adding a 3rd for no good reason. The ratio is fine since it's not likely that you should increase total chicken count by alot.

Thank you! I have to say that my two serama males are very cute and relatively calm. But the thing is I want more seramas next year so do I have enough males to ensure that? After all, each male has his few favorite hens and I don't believe they will mate all the females....

Depends on his technique, do you know if he's fertilizing the serama hens you have?
and....how the heck could a serama successfully mate a larger bird.

Thank you! I guess he is fertilizing because I see that he mates with the hens. So... I guess two serama males are enough for the amount of seramas/bantams I have. I have to say, that I had a very dominant rooster (which I gave away recently) and all the chicks I had this year look like him! But, we only hatched eggs of two hens which we saw he mated. One of them was a serama and her chicks don't look like her at all, they look like the father. So now when he isnt around, I HOPE it means more seramas next year!!!!!

Another thing....might sound strange, about one of my serama males - when he was young, he had an small injury with blood near his vent/cloaca. It completely healed since then of course and he is perfectly healthy, but it doesnt impose any problems on his abilty to pass his sperm, right? He mates with the hens like any other male. The injury was when we was a very small chick.
