Rooster's not much of a gentleman

    So here's the discussion I hear issuing from the henhouse this morning:

    Rooster: One of you go out first.
    Hen: Are you nuts? It's cold out there. And it's not even properly light.
    Rooster: Seriously, ladies first.
    Hen: I don't want to go out there.
    Rooster: Out. Now.
    Hen: Oh, I see what you're doing -- you're just scared to go out first.
    Rooster: Oh yeah? Well -- take this!
    (Hen shoots out pop-door so fast that she ricochets off the side of the run).

    He does this every morning. XD

    I thought Roo's were supposed to protect their ladies?

    i love to call my hens (and roo) chicken when they're afraid of something silly. lol
    my roo isn't as 'gentleman-ly' as i thought they were supposed to be either.... maybe he will be when he gets a little older...
