Roosters were on medicated start and grow till Friday November 7th. They are 18 weeks as of the 10. I do not want to feed them through the winter so I want to butcher them. Does anyone know long I need to wait till it is safe to butcher them?

If it is like most medicated feeds, the medication was Amprolium, to prevent Coccidiosis. If this was the case (it didn't have antibiotics), the roosters are safe to butcher and eat now. Amprolium is only a thiamine blocker, not an antibiotic.

Thank you, that is very helpful! I have had chickens for approximately 10 years now but haven't butchered any of them before and especially the ones who have been on start and grow.
