My poor silkie roo, "Fuzzhead" looks like his middle tail feathers were cut in half lenth wise! I haven't cut them and I am worried I'd have a tail-less rooster forever! Will they grow back? Also, my cockerel doesn't have any rooster tail feathers because he used to bully some of our other chicks and my dad yanked him up by the tail and ripped out most of his tail feathers! He's growing feathers on his tail but they are short and surrounded by down that you can see poking out at the top. His father had "tail trauma" too and has the same-ish looking tail. I'm plagued by tail-less roos!
