do i need to keep a roo in the flock of 20 hens? i dont plan on breeding, eggs only. half of the flock is RIRS and the other is barred rocks. the roo is a RIR.

No. He will just give you alot of headaches. Unless you just like him, He isn't need unless your going to hatch eggs.
