Roosters

He’s 4 months old and all the “ hens” are just pullets ranging from 5/7 weeks old. I just wanted them for eggs breeding and pets for now anyway , but I have ten buff Orpingtons and I really wanted a buff Rooster
If you want to breed pure SLW and pure BO you'll need separate housing.

I have space
How much, in feet by feet?
Dimensions and pics are always helpful.
Can space be split to keep cockerels separate with their breed of girls?

Might want to slow down, as your intro says, "I'm obsessed", before you get overwhelmed. Good to get thru your first winter before adding more birds...
...and it sounds like you may already have a buff cockerel?
I have 11 five week old straight run Buff orpingtons,

Oh, and..... Welcome to BYC! @J99
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, (laptop version shown), then it's always there!

Do be aware that chicken wire only keeps your birds confined, it is NOT predator protection!!!
Hardware cloth, well secured, and woven wire over the lower four ft., is more secure.
Nearly any predator can rip through hardware cloth, and rats and weasels can wiggle right through it. birds next to it can be pulled apart through it too. :sick:old
