I am sure this has been asked time and time again but I didn't see a thread on this so sorry for the repeat.
I would love to have two chickens but I can't have a rooster. If I raise them from eggs or buy them ask chicks I am assuming I would end up with a rooster. What do people do with their roosters? My dad bought me an incubator for Christmas when I told him I was thinking of getting chickens but he wasn't thinking about roosters. He was thinking how fun it would be for my little girls to see them hatch. I would love to let them have that experience but I don't know what to do with a rooster!
Is there a way to tell if a chick is a rooster?
Thanks in advance for your help!
