Roosters?

Six of my chickens look like the one on the left and five look like the one on the right. Do I have 6 roosters and if so what do I do with 6 roosters?!? Also, I was told they are Isa Brown, but I’m not sure of that either!

I'm not sure about the breed, but if six of your chickens look like the one on the left, then yes, you have 6 roosters.

Yes, they're roos. As for what you do with them, you have 3 choices. Rehome them, if you can find people who want roosters...put up with six roosters, and all the fighting and crowing you're going to have...eat them. We ate our 3. They were absolutely delicious!

Yep, you have 6 rhode island red roosters. If you can keep a rooster, you could keep the nicest one. The rest you could either try to sell, or you could give them away. You could also look for a farm sanctuary that might be willing to take at least some of them.

Ugh! The woman we got the chicks from said one or two roosters may have gotten by her, but not 6 out of 10! She also told us they were Isa Brown!

Sorry. Those are Rhode Island Red cockerels. You can butcher or re-home. Best of luck!

ISA brown are color sexable. I'm sorry she lied. Roosters would have been white. No way to get by her..
