I posted 2 roosters 8wks old that I need to rehome on Craigslist. Someone told me to be careful that they don't take them for cock fighting. Just wondering if thats a real thing. Any help would be appreciated. I cant keep them but I don't want them abused either.

I screen the people that take my boys. I ask about their set up and current chickens and I always charge a few dollars. Whenever I had more than one I would either list them one at a time or just not give them all to one person who wanted them. I always worked with mine to make sure they were reasonably tame ans social.

Usually families or couples would come to get them so I felt confident they actually got homes.
