I'm thinking of keeping one of the males out of my next hatch of chicks. It would ether be a black sex-link male or a RIR. If you were to keep one which one would it be? I'm keeping him just for the fun of having him. I know or herd that ether can be aggressive. any thoughts? Thanks for any replies.

I don't know about the black sex links, but my RIR is so far very sweet and mild. I have RIR & De's, the DE's are very 'assertive' and the RIR just hang back and don't hassle anyone, human or chicken.
Now mind you my roos are only 13 weeks old.
