Can anyone tell me if these are roosters? If so I need to give them away. The one in the back crows all the time. The one in the front tries to crow but it does not sound very good. I have a lady at a farm who wants to meet me to take them if they are roosters.

If you hear them crowing or trying to crow they are definitely roosters. It's kind of hard to tell by those pics (for me at least) but if you say that the back one crows and the other one tries to crow then they are rooster 100%.

Ditto. Some hens crow, but not until they are very mature. These are both cockerels (boys).

The one in the front tries to crow but it does not sound like the one in the back who is actually crowing. It sounds like a weak attempt to crow, but it is not a full crow.

If they are TRYING to crow at that age, they are cockerels. They never sound like a real crow when they are little, but pullets don't try to crow at all.

Thank you. I will text the lady and let her know I will be meeting her with them this weekend.
