For about a week my 3 leghorns have disappeared at night. My son Did not tell me when he was locking up the coop but I noticed one morning that they were out before the coop was unlocked. Mystery solved tonight. They are roosting about 10 feet up in a tree on a branch. Why???how do I get them to stop? They have room in their coop. Nothing has changed other then I switched to sand in the coop a month ago. Not sure what to do about it.
