Roosting bar questions -- dimensions

I wish I had thought about the upside down windows. Sadly, too late.

I have the poop boards 6 inches below the roost, with 18" between roost and wall and 12" between roost and front of board.
As the dimensions of the windows are the same either way, can you switch them?
Ours are with screws into the surrounding wood, so I think we could adjust if we wanted.

No, they are sealed all the way around as well as screws. I think I can make it all work, it's just going to be tight. Luckily I will also be doing exhaust fans, and the opposite wall is almost all vents across the top, so in cold weather I can close the windows and they still have adquate ventilation. I just wanted all I could get since I am in a warm climate.

I don't have the answer but watching. As we made our poop boards Only 5" lower than the roost bar and did not extend them...Wrong. We'll be lowering them and making them to extend about 2' from the wall with the roost bar about middle.

Did the distance between the roost bar and the poop board work? I will be using a dust pan or a kitty litter scoop to scoop up poop, so I know I have enough room for me to work, I just want to make sure it works for the chickens.

Not really. The board should have been further from the wall and lower. A number of the roost so that the poop goes on the floor, probably because they are only about 9-10" from the wall. We're lowering the board and making it wider, 2'.
