Roosting bar redo

I have a very narrow 3x6 coop that is about 6’ tall. Currently I have a diagonal roost bar and one smaller one straight across that are about 4 1/2 - 5’ high. I also have a lower bar at about 2’ up for them to use to jump up. I am really not happy with this placement as it seems hard for them to get up there, as it is a pretty vertical jump. The place my also results in poop getting on the ledge above the window and on the lower board. I am thinking about putting 3 lower roost bars, all at the 2’ height. I am wondering if this would piss off my girls as they are used to roosting up much higher, above the windows. Anyone lower their roost bars without issue? Here is a pic. Excuse the mess, clean out is tomorrow. :)

Here is a hastily marked up version of what I am thinking. I would love any suggestions. I have also considered making one long bar from back to front, mounted on the wall above the chicken door. I am just afraid with it being so narrow that they would still have trouble getting on it.

Thank you for the quick reply! I definitely want them removable. As they are, it’s like doing limbo to clean it out. I’m only 4’11” so it isn’t too bad, but I do bang my head on occasion, lol.

6, which I know is pushing it. We had 8, but I gave 2 to a friend after getting some wisdom on here. It broke my heart but I knew it was for the best. :(

I was worried about this winter though.
As you should.

Do you have a run that could be winter-proofed(solid roof, plastic on most walls) so they have extra space?

Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

Done. :) I’m in Delaware, so hot summers and fairly cold winters, but not much snow usually.

The run is only covered with 1/4 inch hardware cloth right now, but will have a new sloped metal roof in the next week or two. The tarp is just for some temporary shade.
