Roosting during eclipse

im in upstate new york, so it may get a wee dark, be curious to see if my girls react at all.. watching this thread. curious how other flocks react..

I'm in Casper Wy and that's one of the hot spots everyone is traveling to see the eclipse. so happens that our house is located in a prim spot for viewing it, Will see what our 4 chickens think of it

I'm really curious to see how my girls will react! I'm torn between staying at home with the girls or trying to drive 30 mins south to the 100% totality zone. I hear it really makes a huge difference

I am thinking maybe I can get two eggs from each bird that day. Because they will think it is a new day.

My little turds keep me up late because they know I have to get up for work at 3:30am. They'll go into the coop an run back out just to laugh at me later. "Hey, make the fat guy run around again... so let's do it twice today" Chickens conspire and will rule the world one day.

I don't think I'd want to drive anywhere down. Originally from Oregon and friends have said it's crazy.

So they did not even notice just went on there Merry way and all was normal

No reaction from the birds here in Texas, but the donkey went a little crazy. Everyone is enjoying the cooler weather though!
