ROOSTING POLE ANY SUGGGESTIONS?

I HAVE A 3 X 6 X 4FT HIGH coop and im trying to figure out how to fix a roosting pole. how high does it need to be for them to actually use it? it cant be real high because its ony 4 ft tall does it really need to be a certain heigth? any help is appreciated!! thanks

2 feet off the floor will be plenty if your coop is only 4 ft tall.

My silkies use a roosting pole that is 6 inches off the floor.... basically a 2x4 on bricks. LOL

You can put it where you want and if it's the highest place, that's what they'll likely use!
