Roosting Positions

They roost in their own good time.
While you are waiting, it would be a good idea to add skirting and/or fencing around the base of your housing so the ground creepers can't reach the setting birds. Is that doable?
Thanks! Great idea... I will add an apron to the front. I still want to keep it mobile as I’m treating for coccidiosis and my vets said since I “can’t wash the ground” moving them daily is the best option. That will help me sleep better!

If you can just get your hands on them and set them up there a night or two they should stick to it. Mine have all caught on and about 12 of them crowd on the top roost, 3 roost on the second and the bottom two roosts are empty. As they grow bigger somebody’s gonna have to move down
I have a 29” reach... the little idiots, or maybe not... they thankfully don’t know about the 4 legged sharp tooth animals yet, settle in the far corner and I can just brush them with my fingertips. I tried poking my fingers through the mesh to get them to move closer so I could put them up, but no luck there. Thought about trying to sweep them out with a stick, but worried about disturbing everyone too much.

I’m glad your floor sleepers have figured out the idea!
