    What should the distance be between roosts and between a wall and a roost for LF, including large roos (10+lbs).

    The rule of thumb is a foot off the wall and a horizontal foot between roosts. That's about what I have and it seems to work.

    Thanks. I have been putting them about 18" apart. Guess that should be enough room for a turkey then. [​IMG]

    Ours are 18 inches from the wall and 18 inches apart, all on the same level. Works good for us and the chickens aren't crowded.
