RopaPoultry Oregano Oil Supplement

I have been using the RopaPoultry supplement with my chickens for a few months now and am pleased with the results. This is the same herbal (oregano oil, cinnamon oil, pepper, etc.) supplement that Perdue and other commercial flocks are now using instead of antibiotics. It is available from MyPetChicken (https://www.mypetchicken.com/…/RopaPoultry-Oregano-Oil-Supp…) but is rather expensive. One 500ml bottle lasts me a little over 2 weeks for 80+ chickens using everyday.
They now have a 5 gallon size available, which works out to about 1/2 the cost of the small bottles. Plus, it ships free, so that is an extra savings over the small bottles. However, the $450 price tag is more than I really want to spend right now, and I don't know how long it will last once it is opened and it would take me approximately 1.5 years to go through that much if I continue using it everyday. My plan is to ease back to the stronger dosage for a few days every couple of weeks. Anyway, if I can find 4 other people in the NKY area that would like to split it with me, that would be $90/person and a gallon would last me about 4 months. For those with smaller flocks, it would last longer.
Anyone in the NKY area that is interested in splitting it with me?

I just started using Ropa about 3 weeks ago. I am a huge fan of using essential oils in taking care of my family and myself and when I saw that Stromburg was running a special on the Ropa, I decided to give it a try. All of my hens are very healthy anyway but I do have one hen who is only 2 years old and has always laid nothing but soft shells. It had gotten to the point that no matter how I tried to supplement her diet nothing made any difference in her egg quality or frequency. She was only laying about once a month which was fine with me because I know that hens who lay softshells consistently can typically have internal laying issues at some point. This sweet girl is one of our favorites so it didn't bother me that she so infrequently because I did not want to lose her to EYP or something else related to internal laying. Back to the Ropa....as I stated, I started using it in their water about 3 weeks ago and last Friday, 4-15, our softshell laying hen laid a relatively normal egg. I say relatively normal because it had a little deformity on one end but the shell was hard enough. The next day and everyday after that except one she has laid a normal egg, hard shells with no deformities. The only thing different in her diet is the Ropa so that has to be reason her egg game is finally on track. I am very impressed and will continue to buy!
That’s great to hear! I have a favorite head with the same issue who sometimes has soft stools so I know there’s something in her intestinal tract that’s not quite right she’s pretty indiscriminate about what she puts in so that may contribute to it. I bought the roofer a couple of days ago, so I’m hoping I get the same results as you.

Awesome! I just ordered that from My Pet Chicken. Excited to try it.
I bought my first bottle from my pet chicken, but the price was very high with shipping. It was nearly $40 for one 250 mL bottle I bought two bottles 500 mL each for $40 on the roper poultry website which means I got 1000 mL for the same price that I paid for 250.
