Oh, that's refreshing! I for one find it sad that so many strong, beautiful actors in hollywood feel pressured to go under the knife so often.

My one quibble with the new Star Trek was their use of a young actress in makeup (not convincing make-up either) to play the part of Spock's Mom when there are so many actresses who look that age and could have played that part. Stunts like that reflect (and increase) the anti-age attitude in Hollywood towards women, and increasingly towards men as well.

Though I am not a huge fan, it's refreshing to see an actress refuse to participate in that culture (and gutsy, career wise).

No surgeries for Roseanne? Wow. That IS refreshing to hear! Good for her. Maybe it's like an "in-your-face Hollywood" thing for her. Oh boy some of them that get surgery! They end up looking like aliens.

Doesn't she? I was totally amazed. She has that very sophisticated gray streak in the front, kinda like Della Reese. Its not that visible in that particular picture, but it was on the CBS show.

I have always loved Roseanne Barr ,, She was my idol growing up.. And the show was sooo like my own life it was scary... I love that she doesnt appear to have hardly any makeup on and is still stunning...
