If I get goats this summer I was just going to keep them in one pasture. But then I heard that some people rotate their goat's pasture. Do you guys rotate your goats pasture??? How big are you pastures for two goats??? Do you just move the fence or do you have several stationary pastures??? I think I would have to move the fence if I rotated the pasture.

i have 3/4 acre fenced i do not roate. i had 5 goats on it. lots of sumac to eat. plus vararity. i still had to mow it twice a month. plenty plenty to eat. going to keep 7 this year on same pasture it should be fine. i did not supplement feed at all from april to october. just pasture.

For 2 goats I wouldnt bother with it- Usually we rotate pastures to control worm overload-especially in the boer goats- we have about 10 on an half acre-so we rest the pastures every 3 months. With 2 goats- a worm overload is very unlikely.

How many goats can you keep on an acre without needing to feed?
