Rotating in and out of cock flock

Oh gosh... if only all the stuff I over thought had any relevant application! :smack

Chicken math... quite a bit of fun! :thumbsup
My DH made me go to the extreme. What if you took the 40 ft of fence and made 2 sides 19' long and 2 sides 2' wide. Then you would have 38 SF. It still makes no sense to this life long bookkeeper, who thinks math never contradicts, but geometry never makes any sense.

Well, that doesn't quite add up anyway, tho 19*2 = 38
19+19+2 =40

That's 42 feet of fence (38+ 4)... for not much space (38 sf as you stated). The same 40 linear ft... 19 ft long would give you 1 ft width and only 19 sq ft of space.

If that was the space I had to work in, then I would. But otherwise it seems like a waste of material. I know we all have reasons why we do things though. Sometimes it's simply misunderstanding or not knowing all the possibilities Other times we have our own agenda.

oops, I meant 1' width. I think my 2 glasses of wine made this all the more complicated. Never mind. :lau

I don't keep my boys away from their bachelor flock long enough to need reintroduction. I usually only have them out for a day, two at most. When I put him back in there is not problem. Even when I had one of the boys get out and roam around the yard for a few days while I was gone there was not a problem when I put him back in with his gang.
