I've read to have the eggs flat and then rotate a few times a day to prevent the chick from developing lop sided but how does this work if you have them in an egg carton that you are rotating back and forth? Wouldn't you just be rotating them on the same side but end to end? I hope that makes sense.

If not, basically I'm trying to figure out how to set the eggs inside of the egg carton and rotate them. I will have the carton inside a basket with a handle connected to the outside.

Thanks

You put them pointy end down and lean the egg carton from side to side,.. you can even put a block of wood in the incubator.
Leaning the whole carton on either side each turning effectively turns the eggs from one side to the other.

Alright! I guess I was just thinking that when they are laying flat, you rotate them completely so having them in the carton wouldn't be as drastic. I guess the point is just to get them moving a little. Thanks!!
