My parents got me a double rotisserie for Christmas. There are 6 of us that are eating so it had to be bigger. I can do a turkey up to 15 pounds. This is sooo easy and yummy. I take the Mc Cormick (sp?) seasoning packets that are 1 each of mesquite marinade, and Chipotle Pepper I believe it's called. Mix it the way they suggest with the oil and water. I put in a turkey oven bag for size and pour the marinade on. I refrigerate it overnight and turn it in the morning and a few times until I am ready to put on the rotisserie. I put an onion in the cavity and tie it up for roasting. I found that 15 minutes per pound is good enough for my rotisserie, but everyone is different. It is the most tender white meat I have ever had. And it is moist. The flavor is like nothing I have had before and my kids absolutely beg me to make it more

Please if you try it, let me know what you think

My rotisserie brand is Ronco and next time I make one I will post a pic. We already ate the one I made 2 days ago lol. Then I used the carcass to make turkey soup. Yummy

Oooooo, I have that same Rotisserie (probably the smaller one), and I love it! Ill have to try a chicken with that recipe, sounds really good.

Hey, a rotisserie would be a great idea for DH's next gift!

And welcome to BYC, Snowfire_girl! Do post a pic when you have a chance. It sounds delicious.

My kids all went together and got me one for my Bday about 5 years ago and I have really enjoyed it. I have mine set up on a cart off my kitchen in the laundry room, that way I can cook in it in the summer time and not heat up my kitchen. I love it.
