Oh my goodness, you have no idea how excited I am!!’
Just out of curiosity- the hen in the foreground here.
Looks a lot like a bourbon red, except for the white tips on the body feathers. Is that a fall fire?
She has a lot less white than the ladies in the background. And I know the Fall Fire don’t breed true to color; I’m just trying to learn!
I know I’m going to be receiving a mix, and would like to be accurate in my understanding 😉
 
This is my Fall Fire and Red Sweetgrass in breeding pen for this spring they just started laying. By using the Red Sweetgrass Tom over Fall Fire and Red Sweetgrass hens they will only produce Fall Fire and Red Sweetgrass poults.
