Rotisserie Roasted Guineas - Mmmmmm!

what do you all think of me keeping mine in tractors in a pasture?

we are really looking forward to using these for meat and eggs, but not a lot of breeders.

Guinea won't start laying until near May. They lay through to early October. You'll have to wait for eggs.

Guinea is excellent feasting!

Jayne, the guineas are much better off kept locked up about 3 months to learn home then turned out to forage for most of their food. They grow better and seem more healthy when left a bit on the wild side.

okay, so keep them IN the tractor...no ranging for awhile. that's what i was thinking also. thank you for the tip!

we have electric fencing around a paddock field and thought that would be excellent grounds for our tractor meat birds next season.

oh, patience, Miss_Jayne, patience!
