I have a banty hen that is in her 16th day of sitting on eggs. She originally had 6 eggs but yesterday one broke (or was broken) underneath her. It contained a foul-smelling creamy green goo. I moved her to another nesting box with fresh bedding but I didn't wash the other eggs even though they have some goo on them. I wasn't sure what to do. Is it okay to leave them in the nest dirty like that? I'm hoping that that was the only rotten one. Thanks!

you do need to carefully clean the other eggs as teh bacteria from that broken egg can contaminate and kill the other eggs

use a egg wash on cloth and wipe them gingerly
