Good morning, I cracked an egg (that I collected yesterday) in my skillet this morning. It was blue/green liquid and had the worse smell ever (I worked in an ICU for years but I’ve never smelled anything worse). I’ve read some places this could be a sign of infection? My chickens don’t spend a lot of time inside (usually free ranging) but it has been very hot & humid on the east coast so I’m worried maybe she caught something? I only have 3 girls who are a little over a year old. I had been getting 3 eggs almost everyday but in the last month I’ve only been getting 2 most days so wondering if she’s the one who hasn’t been laying? Hard to distinguish color in that pic but it was green/blue.
