Rouen Drakes with some "grayish or silverish" feathers?

I just had my two rouens get their rings on their necks so I am sure they are males. Both have some of their body feathers that are a gray in color or between a gray and silver. What's the reason behind it and should I be concerned? I have 4 females and 2 males. 3 of the females are about a year older and none of the females feathers look like this. All seem to be getting along fine. I live in south central, Pennsylvania where the seasons are changing. Its low 70's in the day last few weeks and anywhere from the 40's to 60's at night.

Are they moulting? When does that happen? Thanks in advance.

That is completely normal. I have Rouen drakes and they looked like that and then the silver color took over. Here are some pictures

Thanks I just found out that one of them has rare feathers on his legs! Who knew!!:) Yours will mature with time as rouens are a very slow maturing breed. My biggest boy just got his full colors a while ago and barely got to show off as he's molting now. Hope I helped!!!!!! Have fun with your ducks!!
